With the Gigaset T480HX, Gigaset launches the first desk phone for cordless
connection to DECT-capable routers. Like all models in the HX universal
handset range, it uses the DECT and Cat-iq 2.0 wireless standards for
communication, accessing the router's features. It is perfect for desk work;
Thanks to clear display with speed dial buttons, headset jack and last but
not least because of the HD voice voice quality. The Gigaset T480HX is
technically a DECT handset, but offers the complete comfort of a
full-fledged desk phone. Unlike comparable handsets, the eight
speed-dial buttons in addition to the 2.8 "TFT display provide direct
access to the most important numbers. The central 5-way button for
easy navigation through the menu of the phone is in turn a well-known
